You can view 3D movies, 3D YouTube clips or even your own 3D photos, and, the best part is, you don’t have to wear 3D glasses to get the full effect. This is thanks to special stereoscopic technology that the device has inside its high-resolution 4.3″ display.

Amazingly you can choose to take picture or videos in 2D or 3D with a flick of a switch on the side of the device. The 2D, 5 Megapixel camera allows for a good quality images and the HD 720p video recorder allows you to capture amazing 3D footage. This can then be shared to Facebook, or made into a 3D masterpiece with the new 3D Youtube channel, and then shared for the world to enjoy. Read the rest of this entry »

Although not officially announced yet, the Android-based HTC Hero phone has just made an appearance. And it comes in black which is great news considering that we have first seen in in pink which isn’t the most impressive color when it comes to cell phones. The phone looks like the Magic but it’s a totally new handset. It even features a 3.5mm headphone jack which is quite an improvement compared to the G1 when it comes to music support. We’ll be waiting for the official specs but and until then you can enjoy the pictures here!

Europe and Taiwan must be rocking the latest HTC flagship cell phone already, now that April 2009 is almost done with us, but seems like HTC just can’t let the Touch Diamond2 hit the streets.  We now have news that the high-end smartphone is ready to capture Malaysia too, according to a recent press release, and if HTC sticks to its words this time, Malaysians should be getting cosy with their Diamond2s by the middle of May 2009.  The price falls in the same ballpark as the European and Taiwanese versions, going for about 2599 RM (roughly $722).  We know you love your tech HTC, but can we have a go at it too?

A version of the Snap QWERTY smartphone from HTC, albeit likely with CDMA and GSM network support, is one step closer to its release at Verizon, as a rendering of it has been spotted. Known in the render as the XV6175, it was codenamed Cedar when it was undergoing testing at the GSM Global Certification Forum. The XV naming scheme has regularly been used to rebrand HTC’s phones on Verizon’s network. Neither a release date nor pricing information are yet known for the XV6175.

We all know that the Touch Pro2 is lurking right around the corner going by the little birdies that speak up from time to time, but for those who don’t know what the Touch madness is all about, the Touch Pro might be a good place to start.   US Cellular has now added the original HTC Touch Pro on to its lineup and anybody with $249 to spare on a two-year agreement after a $70 rebate will get to enjoy its expansive touchscreen display, HSDPA speeds, WiFi, GPS, and a passable 3.2 megapixel camera, not to mention its slide-out QWERTY keypad, which is what makes it different from the HTC Touch Diamond.
