Microsoft and PC manufacturers expect the campaign to upgrade for free will encourage users to buy new pcs even if the time Windows 7 is coming.

Lenovo is the latest PC manufacturers  commitment to support users upgrade to Windows 7.

Accordingly, all the Lenovo computers sold in the period from 31 / 1 to 26 / 6 equipped operating system version Windows Vista Home Premium, Ultimate Business is a free upgrade to Windows 7 if user needs.

Lenovo is the 2nd manufacturers after after implement program that supports customers. However, HP perform only the free upgrade for the systems purchased from 25 / 6 to 22/10.

Microsoft itself has plans to support users. Last June 26th, Microsoft said that they will be discounts for those who order Windows 7 before the operating system release.

Microsoft and PC manufacturers hope that the free upgrade will encourage users to buy new PCs this summer instead of waiting until Windows 7 officially release on October 20th.
