For all those disappointed souls hoping for a Verizon Touch Diamond, don’t lose hope just yet. BGR has a couple of photos to prove that there is indeed is a Touch Diamond waiting to hop on Verizon’s back, but with a few changes that would go unnoticed if you aren’t really looking for them. Most of the specs remain the same as the other Diamond versions including the Sprint’s Touch Diamond, aside from taking a cut on the ROM/RAM side to 256/128MB.
There is still no word on a release date but with the Touch Diamond 2 on its way in a few months, it remains to be seen if Verizon will actually go ahead and release the older version.
