MetroPCS has launched the Samsung Finesse. The phone is available for $349.
With the model number SCH-R810, The Finesse matches the Samsung Instinct (SPH-M800) on Sprint, but with the more-standard TouchWiz UI featured on other Instinct-alike phones. It features a 2.0 megapixel camera, Stereo Bluetooth, and the same “full HTML browser” which Instinct uses.
However, as MetroPCS runs BREW, the device does replace Java with BREW support. This makes it the first TouchWiz phone in the United States to run on a U.S. BREW carrier.
