Sony Ericsson W205 Walkman

Sony Ericsson is out with a new Walkman phone. The so called W205 is an entry-level device, designed for first-time mobile phone buyers. Specs wise, there’s a 1.8-inch 128×160 pixels screen, dual-band GSM/GPRS radio, Bluetooth, 1.3 megapixel camera with 2.2x digital zoom (you can take both photos and videos with it), FM radio, TrackID, multiple phone books, 5MB of internal memory that is further expandable with Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards. The Sony Ericsson C901 just got Sony Ericsson’s GreenHeart seal of approval with a newly announced version that’s low on carbon emission and high on camera quality. Come see it ripped out of its tiny packaging in our unboxathon.

We’ve already played with the Sony Ericsson Naite GreenHeart, but it’s the flashy Sony Ericsson C901 GreenHeart that’s got us green with envy. It’s the powerful cellphone snapper announced a few months back (5MP camera, Xenon flash, 3G), with the promise of less waste and nasty materials. Sony Ericsson T715 is a mobile impressed by the design outward. Its back is made of aluminum shell, bottle balloon. This model is of silver color, pink. With small size, 91.5 x 48.0 x 14.9 mm and weighs only 96 grams, sliding designs.

T715 is equipped with 3.15 Megapixel camera with geotagging Cell-ID, LED flash. Support video features, but the resolution is not high.

Sony Ericsson’s W518a has just been approved by the FCC and it’s going to arrive soon in the USA from AT&T. We don’t have exact dates for you but the phone should be available in the following months. The W518a is a GPS-version of the Sony Ericsson W508 and it will feature a QVGA display, external music-dedicated keys and a 3.2 megapixel camera. We’ll be waiting for some prices with those final arrival dates.

Despite its current financial problems, Sony Ericsson still has some tricks up its sleeve. The W995 phone has been announced in February but it has just recently hit the FCC. One of the most important feature of the W995 is that 8 megapixel shooter. The W995 will not only play all that music for you but it will also help you take some amazing pictures. Other specs include 8GB of internal memory, 2.6-inch QVGA scratch-resistant screen, aGPS, WiFi, stereo speakers and Walkman player 4.0. The phone has HSPA support but it lacks 850/1800/1900 MHz WCDMA bands needed for the North American markets. Will Sony Ericsson launch this baby only in Europe?
