There is a new game app over at the Apple app store from Glu Mobile. The game is Cops and Robbers, a game that will give players a rush of adrenaline as they play a thief escaping pursuers or play as a cop chasing down a criminal on the run.

Technology never ceases to amaze us. We all know that Apple has expanded efforts to make the iPhone multi-functional but apparently now, an iPhone can even be used to conduct ultrasound exams thanks to a pair of engineers at Washington University in St. Louis. William D. Richard and David M. Zar have adapted an ultrasound probe that works on a half-watt of power from a cellphone.
That means that ultrasound exams could be conducted nearly anywhere while the image is piped to a doctor at a distant location. What makes this a big advance is not just the technology, but also its potential to greatly reduce the cost of ultrasound machines, making it practical to put them in pockets of E.M.T.’s, battlefield medics, school nurses and third-world obstetricians. It was just yesterday that we found out how Apple and Verizon are cooking up a new iPhone for 2010 ready to run on Big Red’s CDMA network. And now this: Microsoft and Verizon are working on an iPhone killer. Or did everyone misunderstood the whole Apple and Verizon thing? According to certain sources Verizon is in talks with Microsoft about that whole iPhone killer. Codenamed project “Pink” the phone will be designed by Microsoft and it will come with lots of multimedia features and, of course, a large touchscreen. The new phone is going to run on Windows Mobile but it’s going to be a tweaked version. So what say you Microsoft? How are you going to explain to everyone else that’s using your OS the new phone? After all everyone knows that Microsoft will not develop an own phone right?
We kept talking about how Verizon is not going to get a CDMA iPhone soon and how AT&T will keep its grip on that exclusivity iPhone agreement. Until today that was all true. Now it looks like Verizon wants the iPhone and not only does it want it but it’s working on it with Apple. According to USA Today the iPhone will be going to Verizon as soon as the exclusivity deal expires. I hope you’re sitting down for this: the Verizon iPhone will run on the CDMA network which is quite the contrary of what we knew so far. Isn’t iPhone 2010 going to use that fresh 4G LTE network?
