LiveViewGPS has announced the release of its mobile data network connected in-car navigation system, the 4.3-inch touchscreen NavTrac RTV10. The paid monthly data access service includes unlimited two-way messaging and unlimited web port access, as well as vehicle tracking that is updated every 10 seconds. The device is suitable for use in businesses with courier or delivery drivers, allowing a central location to track vehicles, communicate with drivers and even update or change their routes. Tracking is done via a website interface, without the need to download software.

Map data is stored on the built-in 4GB of data, and there is no external media slot for viewing multimedia content. The NavTrac RTV10 is priced at $599, while the optional data service is priced at $40 per month, and requires a $25 activation fee. There is no minimum term.

The igotU is a cool little gadget that calculates your route right down to the meter by logging onto Google Maps. The device has a built-in GPS sensor and SiRF III chip and is a welcome travel companion which can track all your travel destinations either on land, in the air or on the water. It weighs a mere 21g and measures just 47×29×12mm. The navigation software is downloadable for free from the manufacturer’s homepage.

The USB stick is compatible with all digital cameras and linked to Google Maps which allows your travel photos from each location to be loaded into the device and re-ordered there. It will run for approx. 20 hours on it’s internal lithium-ion battery. Retails for around $99.99
